This week we have been doing measurement for maths. We each have our own maths groups. In my group I have two boys and two girls, including me. First, we had to estimate the circumference of our heads, then we used a piece of wool around our heads and estimated its length. Finally we used a metre ruler to measure the exact length of the wool. I learnt that my head was 51 cm around.
Here is my measurement maths heads that I have done.
Did wearing a hairtie make a difference? Or did the girls (and maybe boys) have to wear their hair down to get a correct measurement?
