 This week we carried on with our ‘insect’ topic for reading, writing, handwriting and art. For maths we practised basic facts and worked on writing a variety of equations which would have a certain number for the answer. Play, Make, Create

 Hello!

Today for Play, Make, Create we read the three silly goats gruff. We had to make 2 things, I chose to make a wanted poster for the troll and make a troll pet for me!🍄 In my wanted troll poster I just put a random number. And on my troll pet it took a long time to cut out. But anyways here is my work:

Today we wrote a piece of writing about the weather. We got to chose what ever type we wanted.

Week 9 recount

This week we have been working on a recount. We could make our recount about anything you have been doing on the weekends. I chose to do netball. I write about last weekend for our last netball game. How we got there, Prize giving, Chips, Sushi, And home. Here is my work:

The old playground!

In Week 7,  we went outside and looked at the old wooden playground  to see if we could think how to write about it using personification. Play, Make, Create!

 In Term 2 Week two we did Play Make Create. This is where the teacher reads you a story and you discuss the message in the story. Then you create something based on the message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation. We read a story called Stick and Stone which was about friendship. I chose to make something with glitter for my two friends. I created it on a white piece of paper and it had their name on it with glitter!:>

Cicada observation

Last week we have been looking around our school for a evidence of a life form; cicada shells.  We found about 24 shells, and when we came back inside we had to make a cicada observation about how the shell looked, tasted, felt, smelled and what we heard. Here is my work I have done:

Ski trip

Hello

We have finally had our ski trip. It was amazing. We are at the snow , skiing. This is me. When I first saw this photo I wondered why I looked so much like a little baby. I crashed a lot at first. But when we had a lesson I was very good at it.  We came back on Thursday , that's when I felt weird skiing because I thought I might fall over lots and get hurt. But my friend helped me out. At the first time I felt like an ice cube my hands were cold like ice. My face kept getting snow on it and it was the coldest place I have ever been too.

Rhyming couplets

Today for writing I did my dream car.Can you guess what my dream car is???
Well it is black and it starts with a: T. Did you guess it?    Well it is a Tesla because it can drive where ever you want to go. Oh and my Tesla would be the colour black because I love the colour black. Well here is my google draw of what my car is and what it looks like.

Hi again! Today I made something made with sticks and rocks can you guess what it was?
Well it was a fire place and its a great idea for camping well I call it camping.

Greats and grands

Last Friday we had our Grates and grands Day. My Nan  Del and papa Len came along.We did performances and dancing. We had a delicious morning tea and play games. Here is my poem I write for my grandparent.
