We have coded our own unplugged program of the five stages of the cicada life-cycle. We have included some obstacles too. The goal is to be able to have someone follow our codes to navigate our life-cycle by getting from stage 1 to stage 5 and avoiding the obstacles. Here are some examples of our coded life-cycles.

E aha ana Koe?
Kia ora
We have been learning how to ask questions in Te Reo. The question was :
E aha ana koe? This means: What are you doing?
Then we had to be able to answer that question several times using different Te Reo verbs.

Cicada observation

Last week we have been looking around our school for a evidence of a life form; cicada shells. We found about 24 shells, and when we came back inside we had to make a cicada observation about how the shell looked, tasted, felt, smelled and what we heard. Here is my work I have done:
